Please only answer if you know what you are talking about. When I say Ivy League caliber, I mean all the Ivies and other elite non-Ivies like Duke, Stanford, Rice, etc.
University of Florida Honors College or Ivy League caliber school?
I graduated from the Honors College at a large university. I LOVED it! Of course an Ivy League Education will open doors, but you will certainly pay for it!
Go Ivy if you are planning on attending Grad School. save your money in undergrad by attending an Honors College.
Reply:My sister and some of my friends were in the honor program at my undergrad. I didn't think it was worth it. My sister passed up Berkeley for it. I think she woulda been better off going to the better named school.
It can depend on what you end up doing after college. If it's something like business, for sure go to the Ivy type school. If it's English, tuition might not be worth it.
