Do not bother with false ivy. It costs money, it is flown from far overseas, it is made of oil-derivatives. It is probably, to some extent, toxic. Somehow.

Much better real ivy, or alternatives.

Go to the woods, and gather ground ivy, which you can then strew through the trellis (if you cut it carefully enough).

OR...go to the council tip, where they take gardening refuse. Sorted.

OR find a tree surgeon who is working somewhere around your local town; just drive around looking on a sunny day.Ask nicely, get the thin boughs of whichever trees are being culled.

LASTLY: find a neighbour or kinsman who had Leylandia (conifer, evergreens) growing in their garden. They always need cutting back. Offer to do so, or pay a small child extra pocket money for service.

BEST OF LUCK. ESCHEW THE PLASTIC.
Reply:Not a lot of Walmarts in our country.
Reply:Yoh go Dr. John! How long have you got? Russian Ivy grows really quickly. Plastic looks rubbish, better go for some Green screening of some sort!
Reply:try pic-n-save--Big Lots
Reply:Try Michaels crafts store or even WalMart. Don't do plastic - it's so fake looking! Go with silk - it's beautiful and realistic looking, and will last through all sorts of weather!
Reply:Any of the dollar type stores have this.
Reply:Want some quick green that is natural? Go find some kudzu. No, really!! This grape-viney, nasty stuff kills trees so most people would be grateful for its removal. It has large, beautiful green leaves (perfect for camoflaging a fence line) and the vines are sturdy enough to wire into place with out having to worry about the wire cutting through.

The one thing to keep in mind is that you have to find the base root and cut that for easier removal. The vine does send out suckers, you may want to pull/cut those too.

Since this plant is a major nusiance, everyone wins!
Reply:Try Big Lots if you have one, they would be cheaper than Wal-Mart or Micheals. If not, talk to local florists, they often have silk ivy in bulk and can cut you a deal on their excesses
Reply:Walmart has a fake plant section, as do many large craft or hobby stores.
Reply:I always see what you want at our small town thrift store, check Goodwill or any other store similar. Also, you might check Dollar General they have a lot of inexpensive items
Reply:Dallor General has it............
Reply:Michael's, Walmart, craft store.... Good luck
Reply:Why are so many yanks answering this question?

Plastic ivy would match the bride's shellsuit I presume
