Ok i have poison ivy on my face arms belly hands.. i have a date on the 22 and a chrismas dinner party with my boyfriends parents on the 23. i have to look some what normal. i broke out with this crap on monday. and my nose is down to the normal but i have a BIG *** BLISTER that has dryed on the side of my face..what is the best way to get rid of it my my dates. i've used tecnu every day and calagel so i don't iche it to make it worse. help please...

The only thing that will do this in the time frame you mention, for certain, is Predisone. It requires a prescription.
Over the counter medicines may work, but there is no guarantee it will be in time.
Reply:Try liquid Vitamin E to the dry areas, it will give moisture to the dry skin while fortifying the healthy tissue around it.
Reply:I think if you keep treating it with your current medications you should be pretty well over it by the 22nd. Be sure to avoid scratching. Benadryl cream or pills may help with itching. My dad used to use Lysol dabbed on the top surface of the blisters to dry them up. I don't believe that is a commonly recommended cure, but it did dry it up quickly. Just be careful not to apply it to healthy skin tissues.
