why is pioson ivy important to the world of science??please help me...its my homework!
Pioson ivy!!!?
The Poison Ivy ( Toxicodendron radicans ) contains a latex, which produces contact allergies and sensibilisized people after two contacts only. Normally the sensibilisation process needs more contacts.
This fact and the high toxicity of the active agent Uroshiol makes it interesting for science.

Reply:If you ever have it, you wouldn't ask the question. Animals can roll in it. Insects thrive on it. Humans come down with nasty plant dermetisis. Someone should figure out how to cure that!
