Operation ivy?

when did hellcat records start printing their cd's again? i just picked up a op ivy cd that had all the tracks from energy on it and more. i was very suprised. especially becasue i live in north carolina now. rednecks everywhere. no punks.

so thats pretty dope.

Operation ivy?
Lookout Records caught a lot of heat from bands that used to be on the label. The company wasn't giving them all their royalties, so the former bands started pulling their back catalogs out of Lookout and putting them into other labels. Operation Ivy, being one of many bands to do this, went to Hellcat. It was an easy decision because it's the label Tim Armstrong runs in the Epitaph family. All the Op Ivy guys got together a while ago as part of a "business" meeting (that spurred a lot of reunion rumors, especially after Jesse joined Rancid on stage in '06 to perform Unity), that I think, was to discuss where to take the Op Ivy catalog and the distribution of royalties.
Reply:Yeah they just re-released it on like dec. 6. It has "Energy" and "Hectic" on one disk and its remastered. However, I don't think that there's much of a sound quality difference from the one that they had released before and the one that they realeased now. Also, the new one has a digipack case, but I don't know what the hell that is.
Reply:they are reprinting op ivy?? sweet, gotta get me a copy!
Reply:back when tim was known as lint
Reply:Op Ivy is a fun and fantastic band. I didn't know they had that stuff out- so thanks for mentioning it!

If you have Myspace- Op Ivy is on there. I have them added as a friend.
