The ivy restaurant?

i make frequent trips to the ivy, say every 3 months, i want to have my xmas do there, has anyone had an xmas party there?? wats the food like, etc,



and yes ive tried ringing, but im so busy with my babies or work?

I wish i could afford to eat at the Ivy on a regular basis. Try to call them directly for information.

Reply:I eat at The Ivy regularly. In fact, I was there on Thursday.



The main point of The Ivy is for the atmosphere and the people watching: to be honest, I find the food to be mediocre at best and certainly not good value for money.



The Ivy will not take standard reservations for more than 4 people, so if you are planning a large scale Christmas Party then this might be a good venue. Unless, of course, you hire their Private Room which cn accommodate up to 60 guests. However, you need to spend a minimum of ￡2200 or they will impose a very high room hire charge.



Haing said all of this, I can tell you that the Private Room is now fully booked througout December and there is only very limited availability in the restauran proper. I am fairly regular customer and I had difficulty making a booking as my three favourite dates were all fully booked already!
