I'll be there Thursday for the first time and I may be disappointed if the Ivy is brown. But not much.
Is the ivy at Wrigley Stadium green now? I was told that with this heat it may be brown.?
The ivy at Wrigley as still green.
They pay quite a bit of money to professional groundskeepers to ensure that the grass and surroundings are well maintained.
Part of the intrigue of Wrigly is the ivy covered walls, and they will be sure not to let it tarnish.
Reply:I was at Wrigley Field Saturday and Sunday and it was green going tomorrow and Wednesday should still be green, especially with the rain we are expected to get soon!! Wrigley has a good ground crew keeping our ivy green all summer!! Even if the Ivy is brown as it is in the beginning of the season Wrigley is still awesome!! Hope you enjoy yourself and you have to have a hotdog, don't get the cheap 1.75 ones splurge for the 3.25 ones they are yummy, also if you go under the pressbox behind homeplate you will see a concession area go past it onto the deck and they have a grill set up that has the best italian beefs and grilled food there!!
Reply:Green. I saw it on ESPN last night
