or you can go to the ER and get a shot, and it will be gone tomarrow
Reply:run some water luke worm in a bath tub put about a half a bottle of clorox and bathe in that for about 5 minutes and your poison ivy should be better in at least a day or two!!!

Reply:This really hurts but when i was a girl. I would scratch the surface and pour bleach on it. When you scratch the surface you allow the bleach to get in. The next day you will see it will dry up alot!
Reply:There are special soaps (usually in a bottle) at the drugstore that you can use; they break up the nasty oils that is the source of the itching. Use it right away! You can also use calamine lotion for short term relief.



Do not take a bath -- the oils will cover the surface of the water, and cover your entire body with the poison ivy!



If it doesn't clear up within a few days, see a doctor or dermatologist.
