Ivy league chance, sound good?
okay i'll assume this was your middleschool accomplishments or what you HOPE to achieve in highschool. you have no way of knowing that you will have that gpa or the amount of aps youll be taking. and highschool is a lot harder than middle school. plus my sister was number 2 in her class, played sports, community service, clubs etc, like the perfect student, and yet she was only accepted into one of the ivys she applied to. its never a slam dunk sorry
Reply:you sound like you have a good chance at getting into any college you want to go to. may I recommend the college of william and mary (2nd oldest school in the u.s right after harvard) even though it doesnt have the title of an ivy league school it is still considered a ivy league school.
Reply:Now wait... you are a freshman in high school? So all of the stuff you listed was MIDDLE SCHOOL activities and grades? Colleges focus on just what you do in high school. Many of the colleges I applied to (senior this year) asked specifically for information from sophomore to senior years... they don't even care what you did as a freshman. So while you are certainly off on the right track, you've got to keep it up for three more years!
Reply:Ivy leagues look for an extremely well-rounded student. How about sports? That is really big and if you get really good then you maybe have a better chance of getting in.

Are those middle school stuff? because the really important stuff happens in high school...
Reply:So you're a freshman, right?

It'll be really tough to have a 3.9. That's one B your whole high school career.

If you really think you can keep up with all of this then sure, you have a chance. But Ivy's are so random and spastic about their choices. A majority of the applicants are just as qualified as the other, but very few get in. Keep that in mind.
