Either Ivy League or another elite school.

Brown and Columbia have the strongest writing programs in the Ivies, but as others have said, "elite" doesn't mean a whole lot when it comes to creative writing. The important thing is to find faculty and classes that match up well with your focus and style.
Reply:Northwestern, they are known for their journalism program.
Reply:Why does it have to an elite school? One of the best writers I know went to a little University in Western Oklahoma...

Either you have talent or you don't.
Reply:You cannot learn to write at college. You already have something to say. Put it down, cross it out. Throw it away.

Your cat brings it back. You read it again. There's some good stuff there. You thank your cat, and go back to work.
Reply:The best schools for creative writing are Sarah Lawrence, Kenyon, Bard, and Hamilton. In terms of Ivies, Brown is very good.
Reply:you should consider UC Berkeley..

not an Ivy League school but great English faculty
