Any Ivy league?

Well, I have a 3.1 GPA unrecalculated. I scored a 35 on the ACT and got a perfect on the SAT. I don't do much homework in school so my GPA is low, but my test scores in school are great. I'm only a junior. I played varsity soccer freshmen and sophmore year but not this year. I played freshmen basketball. I co-founded model UN and a stock investing club. I have over a 100 hours of volunteer work at Beaumount hospital. I won many dance awards when I was young(bboying). Do I think I can still make it to an ivy league?

Any Ivy league?
The dance awards you won when you were young don't mean much. Unless by young you mean 9th and 10th grade.

Your GPA is pretty low. If you have some sort of reason for not doing homework, you have better chances, but if you're reason is laziness, which is what it sounds like since you have high ACT and SAT scores, then you'll have trouble.

Your extracurriculars are okay, but not amazing. The 100 hours at Beaumont are pretty good, but still, a lot of kids do that.

As for your mention that you are "only a junior," Junior year is what really counts to colleges. Depending on when you apply (Early enrollment or regular) they get your senior grades long after they've reviewed your app and possibly rejected you. If you can bring it up to a 3.5 or so this year, that would give you much better chances. With your GPA as is, I don't think it'll happen, but if I were you, I'd still apply out of hope.
Reply:Probably not. You might, but most Ivy League schools require you to have at least a 4.3 GPA. You have a whole other year coming up... so start studying! But, you have wonderful extra curricular stuff, so I would concentrate a little more on grades.

EDIT:

Excuse me, I mean 4.4. See here:

Reply:Maybe. Get some awesome recommendations, start to work hard this year and work up a rapport with a teacher who can essentially say that even though you started off slow, you have a good work ethic that'll prep you for college. Also, you'll have a better chance if you're a minority.
