I don't know if it is possible for me anymore because I've messed up so much this year, but according to my status, what would I need to do in order to get into an Ivy college? I've made all A's and 1 B each semester in my freshman year. I also made all A's and 1 B my fall semester this year. And...this is where it starts getting rough: Currently I have 3 A's 2 B's and a vacillating math grade between a C and a B. Ugh. Please don't yell at me. I know my mistake. I was being lazy this semester...I'm so sorry and that's why I'm REALLY REALLY trying my best to pull up my B's. Anyways, other info: I didn't really participate in many extracurricular activities because I've had marching band the last two years and it takes up all of my time. But next year I'm not joining it so I'll be able to participate in other clubs and sports. I've volunteered at the library last summer and also volunteered at working at a food court for an arena nearby. I'm playing to do more (continue below)
Question for Ivy League schools. Help please!?
you're doing fine. wow your grades look pretty good compared to mine. it's not just the grades, it's the character too. there are other schools just as good as an ivy league that you will get into, so you shouldn't worry. heck, I didn't even know I was applying to an ivy league (or what one was) until my friends told me, so my total lack of preparation was enough (and even some C's). clubs and other activities will help and volunteering is always good, but it isn't good to live your high school life bent on getting into an ivy. if you like band stay with it, don't just try to make yourself look better to a college. have fun in high school, I wish I could go back sometimes (mostly for the gyros).
Reply:uh, i think your well on your way. you know what it takes just aply your self if you dont get into the shcool you want you can always do really good in another university those marks are transferable good luck.
